Our third and final FYF TGIF is scheduled for NEXT Tuesday, December 7 (4 – 6 pm) in Marts 214. As you know, this event is rescheduled due to a scheduling conflict of one of our presenters.
The topic for next Tuesday’s FYF TGIF is “Global, Ethnic, Cultural, and Sexual Diversity: Misconceptions, Misunderstandings, and Reactionary Responses.” Our facilitators are Dr. Linda Winkler, Dean, CAHSS, and Mr. James Harrington, Adjunct Faculty.
PLEASE REMIND YOUR STUDENTS THAT THIS IS THE LAST TGIF OF THE SEMESTER.
I need to confirm an estimated number of guests with the caterer. Please check with your FYF students in the next couple of days and ask how many plan to attend this final TGIF. Do include yourself in the guest list if you plan to attend. PLEASE NOTE: Students are welcome and encouraged to attend more than one TGIF.

All fyf students are supposed to attend one of the TGIFs. The topic for this one is listed above. I think the general ideal is to try to engage students in academic activities which are not strictly driven by class work. Some of the most interesting things you'll learn in school you'll run across on campus at events like this one.
